Nope! Our mobile dog grooming van is fully equipped with a generator for electricity and a 70-gallon freshwater reservoir. A separate 70-gallon tank holds our dirty (but entirely biodegradable) soapy water, which we empty back at our office.

The grooming typically takes us anywhere from 20 minutes to two hours. Times are based on the size of the pet, coat condition, hair length, and more (very hairy and/or large dogs understandably take longer). On average, the full mobile dog grooming process takes us roughly one hour.

Stylists would love to have you watch them, but dogs become very excited having their owners see them, and they can run the risk of being injured. Mobile dog grooming services use many sharp tools while styling, and pets that move around on the grooming table are at a higher risk of being wrongly cut. Please do not be offended if your groomer informs you that you or your children can not be in the van or standing outside the window. It is only done for the safety of your beloved pet. If you must come to the van for something, please remember to come over and knock quietly so as not to startle the pet or the groomer. Doors opening or closing and voices can excite animals at the most inopportune time. Please never, ever open the door of the van while a pet is inside. This could result in an animal escaping and possibly being injured.

Based on our professional experience, we recommend that your dog gets groomed every two to six weeks. However, it's important to remember that different breeds require different needs. Nope! As a reliable mobile dog grooming service, we use very mild, hypoallergenic, and medicated shampoos and conditioners that are safe to use once a week. In fact, according to Petplan, it is recommended that dogs be washed at least once a week if they have skin or coat problems. We also ensure your pets are adequately dry, especially during the summer months, to avoid things like hotspots and irritation from moisture.

We’ll be happy to use any preferred pet-safe or veterinarian-prescribed shampoo, as long as it is designed for and safe to use on pets. This is at the discretion of the mobile pet groomer.

We can usually book your appointment with a mobile pet groomer within days. However, there are times during the year that become very busy, and it is recommended to schedule as far as one to two weeks ahead. You can do this by using our online booking system on our website or by giving us a call. Having your pet on a regular grooming schedule, even for baths or basic services like teeth brushing or nail trims, helps ensure your pet is comfortable with all grooming, and it ensures a healthy and happy lifestyle!
